Q: &ME, welcome to India! How was your first time playing here?

&ME: Thank you! It was incredible. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the energy in both Mumbai and Bangalore was unreal. The crowd at Bhartiya City in Bangalore was fully locked in—it felt like they understood every transition, every moment I was trying to create. That connection is what makes a show special.

Q: How would you describe your sound to someone who’s never heard your music?

&ME: I think of it as a mix of deep, organic, and hypnotic elements. It’s house music, but not in a traditional way—it has grooves influenced by Afro sounds, melodic structures, and sometimes even techno energy. The goal is to create a journey, something that builds naturally and keeps people in the moment.

Q: Keinemusik has developed such a unique identity in the electronic scene. What makes it so special?

&ME: It’s all about the chemistry. Rampa, Adam Port, and I have been making music together for years, and the friendship we have is what makes Keinemusik different. We never try to fit into trends—we just make music that feels right to us. It’s raw, it’s emotional, and I think that’s why people connect with it.

Q: Your set in Bangalore had such a deep, hypnotic vibe. What do you focus on when you’re playing live?

&ME: It’s always about reading the crowd. I never go in with a fixed plan—I have a general idea, but I adjust based on the energy in the room. In Bangalore, I could tell the crowd was into deeper, more organic sounds, so I let the music breathe and kept it groovy. When that feedback loop happens between the DJ and the audience, that’s when a set becomes special.

Q: You’ve played all over the world. What stood out about your experience in India?

&ME: The openness. I could tell that people here are really listening—they’re not just waiting for the big drops. That’s something I love. The way people reacted to the subtleties in the music, the slow builds—it was amazing.

Q: What’s next for you and for Keinemusik?

&ME: More touring, more music. We’re always working on new projects, whether it’s solo tracks or collaborations. I definitely want to come back to India—it feels like something is growing here, and I’d love to be part of it again.

&ME’s debut in India was a night to remember, and with the rising love for Keinemusik’s sound, it’s safe to say this won’t be his last visit. If you haven’t yet, dive into his music—it’s an experience in itself.
